Frode Standahl
CEO
Started the company with his brother on Askøy in 1991 — what was then a small cleaning firm is today a nationwide FM group. As founder and principal owner, Frode has led this entire journey, and is today focused on continuing the growth and strengthening Ability's position as a solid partner for its clients. He is committed to keeping Ability a Norwegian-owned, family-run business.

CFO
CFO of Ability since 2013, with a solid background from the consulting industry. Board member of Ability Management AS.
Bjarte Karlsen
Head of IT & Digitalisation
Joined Ability as CTO in 2020 with an international IT background as a developer and entrepreneur. Leads the company's digitalisation strategy — from in-house apps to the goal of fully digital service delivery.
Silje Gaugstad
Head of HR, Group
Group HR Director since August 2024, responsible for HR and HSE at group level. Believes people, culture and development belong at the centre.

Director of Operations
Regional director at Ability since 2012, with long-standing responsibility for the East and North regions. Today responsible for operations nationwide.

Heads Ability's hotel operations, with extensive experience from the hotel industry — including as Operations Director for Clarion Collection at Nordic Choice Hotels and leadership roles in Haugesund, Bergen and Trondheim.

Operations Director, Food & Drink
Heads Ability Food & Beverage, responsible for canteens, events and catering. Concept owner for the canteen offering, where health and flavour go hand in hand.

Operations Director, Cleaning
With Ability since 2007. Heads the cleaning discipline — the company's largest service area — and joined group management in 2025.
